LAGRIA WINERY
Lagria winery is located in Salamiou village in Paphos region at a height of 700m. The owner of the small winery is the president of the Salamiou community, Mr Kostakis Avgousti. The winery has four wines and among their grape wines are Xynisteri, Cabernet Sauvignon and Mavro. The winery has moved to a new building with modern wine making equipment and has an annual capacity of 100 000 bottles.

The winery was established on the 6th of August 1991, although the winemaking history in the area goes back for almost a century. It is located in Salamiou village, 35km northeast of Paphos at the height of 700m. Started as a small project by 3 cousins, now it has premises of 940m2 with plans of expanding more in the near future. Over the years also, the investors of the Winery grew, all with different prestigious backgrounds before joining the wine business. The vision always was ‘’To produce wines of the highest quality possible, keeping them as pure, from chemicals as possible and become the brand of choice for wine lovers in Cyprus and abroad.’’
